Belinda originally trained as a Radiographer before pioneering a preschool music & movement group in 2006. In 2012 she established a Christian dance school where she taught ballet, jazz, contemporary and tap dance. She is a liturgical dancer in her local church.
Belinda re-ignited ICDF Aotearoa New Zealand in 2016 and is currently the National Coordinator.
In this workshop we will Free the Flag (take it off the pole) to utilise it in a worship dance context to construct a free-flowing Christian dance choreography. We will then work on Biblical Movement Motif choreographic patterns inspired directly from the bible using key scriptures to tell the story of God’s Redemptive Plan across the whole Bible.
You will be given choreography notes and music links for future use. Please supply your own rectangular flag (removable from the pole) or fabric for this workshop.
